Online and virtual viewings are the future. They are a great way to get a feel for a home and will save you time.
The number of in-person property viewings have been significantly reduced since the start of December due to the coronavirus pandemic, but at last the country is starting to take the first few steps out of Lockdown #3. Schools and colleges open fully to all pupils on 8th March and non-essential retail, leisure and hospitality venues will all hopefully get to open for customers over the next couple of months.
Since the Government laid out its road map out of lockdown, we’ve seen increased traffic through the Waterspace Living website and there are now a lot more requests to view our beautiful widebeam houseboats in and around Canary Wharf. In fact, with Spring now upon us and the days getting longer, it’s a really fantastic time to imagine how you can enjoy waterside living in the heart of the capital. Be warned though, it’s also that time of year where the numerous waterbirds in the rivers and docks start to build their nests and it’s so easy to lose yourself for hours as you watch and admire their sheer ingenuity in their quest for establishing a new, comfy home on the water!
For people short on time or stuck in too many Zoom or Microsoft Teams meetings as seems to be the norm now, we’ve provided a new virtual tour of our brand new, 2 bedroom Greenwich 70 boat which arrived in West India & Millwall Dock just last week.
On-line viewing is a convenient and flexible way to see our boats up close, view the floorplan and you can even take measurements as you look around! Here, for example we measure the internal headroom height from floor to ceiling at 2.07m – so unless you are a towering 6ft 8” tall, most people will have ample room to enjoy their new floating apartment.
We’ve also set up an arrangement whereby you can book a phone or video call with one of our directors who will talk you through the full specification and show you how you can live on the water without compromise. Whether it’s a closer view of the in-built features such as the integrated fridge, freezer, washing machine/dryer that you need, or it’s the amount of storage available under the bed, we can answer any query that you may have.
