The Brief

‍As the founder of architectural and interior design studio Callender Howarth the owners of this boat knew exactly how they wanted their new home to look. They worked closely with our in-house team to create a vibrant houseboat that works equally well as a home and a workspace in central London. The design

Saloon / Galley

‍A U-shaped galley maximises space while incorporating built-in dinette seating and a dining table that doubles as a large meeting desk. Clever built-in storage includes cupboards beside the bow doors and along the starboard side to utilise every inch of space.

Bedrooms

‍Two generous double bedrooms feature under-bed storage and wardrobes, complemented by bespoke headboards, designer wall lighting, and custom fabrics for the curtains and blinds chosen by our clients.

Outside Spaces

‍The spacious aft deck, with wraparound seating, provides the perfect spot for informal meetings or relaxed dining for up to eight guests.

Anna’s Thoughts

‍This layout works beautifully for a creative studio, with flexible spaces inside and out for collaboration. The bold, playful colour palette and thoughtful detailing make this a truly standout bespoke interior.
