About the marina
A hidden cove on the Grand Union Canal
On the Grand Union Canal, with excellent links to London, Apsley Marina is in a prime location. Enjoy the atmosphere of this modern marina, bordered by bars and restaurants and retaining a community spirit. In spring and summer, plants and flowers bring a feeling of sunshine to the marina, and in the colder months, peace prevails. On the water, cruise through town and country to Cowroast Marina and Packet Boat Marina, both also on the Grand Union Canal. Apsley is a lively marina, a great place to call home or to enjoy on weekends and holidays
The gated marina offers residents an excellent array of facilities and services, including 24 hour CCTV, electricity and water provided to each berth, wi-fi, toilets, showers, laundry, a bike store, pump-out and outside communal space. There’s also a friendly team on hand to help whenever you need them.

The moorings
The moorings at Apsley Marina are suited to a range of lifestyles, from full-time residential use to flexible, part-year living, offering a reliable and comfortable base on the Grand Union Canal. The arrangement of berths supports ease of access and day-to-day practicality, making living aboard feel straightforward and well-supported.
Over time, residents benefit from a marina that functions smoothly and predictably, allowing life on the water to settle into a natural routine. It’s a place designed to be lived in rather than visited, where continuity, familiarity and shared respect for the space define the experience.
