About the marina
Bramley Falls is city living at its best: in fact, the Isle of Dogs where this mooring is located was the winner of the 2019 Sunday Times Best Place to Live in London.
Situated in the historic trading site of Millwall Outer Dock, your mooring is tucked away from the main path of the River Thames but gives you unrivalled access to everything this part of London has to offer.
Canary Wharf is just minutes away and the city is a fifteen-minute ride on the DLR. But the area is surprisingly green with Island Gardens, Millwall Park and Mudchute City Farm being a few of the outdoor spaces to enjoy.
A foot tunnel takes you under the river to Greenwich where you’ll find museums, markets, restaurants and the entertainment riches of the O2 complex.

The moorings
The moorings at Bramley Falls offer a distinctive waterside lifestyle within a private dock setting, combining the energy of city living with a sense of calm and separation from the river beyond. Designed to support comfortable, long-term living, the moorings provide generous space, a secure environment and a high standard of management in the heart of London Docklands.
Bramley Falls offers a balanced way of living on the water, where privacy and connection sit comfortably side by side. The shared dock setting encourages a respectful, well-kept environment, allowing residents to enjoy a refined approach to waterside living within one of London’s most dynamic neighbourhoods.

The local area
Transport
Mudchute and Crossharbour DLR stations are both less than ten minutes walk from your mooring and Canary Wharf underground is fifteen minutes by foot.
Shopping
There is a superstore and a number of supermarkets on the Isle of Dogs, and plenty of places to shop locally. The Canada Place shopping centre at Canary Wharf is home to over 120 well-known brands. Don’t miss the famous Billingsgate Market for fresh fish Tuesday to Saturday.
Entertainment
Where to start? For culture there’s The Cutty Sark, Meridian Line, Royal Observatory and National Maritime Museum. Fun-seekers can ride the cable car over the Thames or climb the O2, before catching live music, sport or comedy at this world-famous venue. Nearby Canary Wharf has a vibrant arts and events programme together with great bars and restaurants.
Cruising
From your mooring at Bramley Falls in London Docklands, it’s a quick hop on to the River Thames and northwards up Bow Creek to join the River Lee Navigation.
Bow Creek is tidal and entrance to Bow Locks is by prior arrangement with the Canal & River Trust.
There are many attractions to enjoy along the route from the 18 Century Grade I listed tidal mill at Three Mills, 2012 Olympic Games venues in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and you’ll find some of London’s rarest flora and fauna at Walthamstow Marshes Nature Reserve all within a few miles.
Further north, the River Lee & Stort Navigations extends through pretty towns and villages towards Hertford and Bishop’s Stortford.
For accomplished boaters, it is also possible to leave the dock system on the Isle of Dogs and travel on the River Thames towards Teddington. It’s a great way to see some of London’s finest landmarks like the O2, Cutty Sark at Greenwich, Tower Bridge, HMS Belfast, the London Eye and Houses of Parliament.
This route will need some planning as there are extra requirements for cruising on the tidal Thames.
