St. Katharine Docks Marina is arguably London’s premiere marina. Located right next to the Tower of London and Tower Bridge it offers great facilities in an iconic setting.

The local area
Transport
There are excellent transport links nearby with Tower Gateway (DLR) and Tower Hill (underground station) just 5 minutes’ walk away. London Bridge station can also be reached by foot via Tower Bridge in just over 15 minutes.
The Thames Clipper ferry service which docks nearby allows you to explore the River Thames from the Royal Docks in the East all the way to Putney in the West.
Shopping
You don’t need to venture far to find excellent shopping malls – both on the north and south-side of the river.
There’s a large Waitrose supermarket within a few minutes’ walk and Mayfair, Oxford Street and Bond Street for all the latest fashions are within easy reach by tube.
Entertainment
World-renowned attractions, Tower of London, Tower Bridge and HMS Belfast are just a few minutes’ walk from the marina. Also close by are the London Eye, St. Paul’s Cathedral, Shakespeare’s Globe and Tate Modern. There’s an array of bars and restaurants around the dock and even a seasonal floating film festival in December!
Cruising
The lock operates approximately 2 hours before and 1½ hours after high water (London Bridge) between the hours of 0600-2030 during the summer season (April – October) and 0800-1800 in the winter season. The River Thames can be busy with visiting yachts, high-speed vessels and even warships! Limehouse Marina is a short 15-minute cruise downstream to connect to the London canal network. Alternatively, cruise to the non-tidal Thames at Teddington Lock in approximately 4 to 5 hours.
