Birdham Pool is situated in an idyllic setting on the south coast of England, close to Chichester. It provides a perfect combination of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, within the protection of Chichester Harbour, with excellent marina facilities.
It’s actually one of the oldest marinas in the country and remains hugely popular with people who like a quieter way of life.
The gated marina offers Waterspace Living customers an excellent array of facilities and services, including 24 hour CCTV, electricity and water provided to each berth, Wi-Fi, toilets, showers, laundry, pump-out and outside communal space. There’s also a friendly team on hand to help whenever you need them.

 | By Road: From the Chichester bypass (A27), take the A286 following signs for the Witterings. At the Stockbridge Roundabout take the second exit – A286 signposted Bracklesham, Witterings. After approximately two and a half miles turn right into Church Lane Chichester Marina. After 200 yards, take the right fork into Court Barn Lane and the marina is 200ft further on your right. By Rail: Fast trains run between London Victoria and Chichester with journey times between 1.5 and 2 hours.  | Chichester has some of the best shopping in Sussex. People have been coming to Chichester since before Roman times for a spot of shopping and today it’s no different. There’s masses of shopping in Chichester, from giants like Marks and Spencer to a huge branch of Boots right through to tiny independent shops. There’s a market every Wednesday and Saturday morning and look out for the Chichester Farmers Market too which takes place every other Friday morning in the main shopping streets of North Street and East Street. |
 | Between mid-June and Mid-July, The Festival of Chichester is a month-long celebration of the arts in the city. There’s classical music, rock, blues, jazz, folk, pop, cinema, spoken word, community concerts and shows, arts & crafts, dance, theatre, church, food & drink, walks and tours, sport and a lot more. Goodwood lies just under 10 miles from Chichester Marina and is home to a whole host of fantastic sporting events, including the Festival of Speed, the Qatar Goodwood Festival (‘Glorious Goodwood’) and the Goodwood Revival. Chichester Festival Theatre was opened in 1962 and is a renowned theatre, producing some exceptional performances. It is well worth a visit and makes for a great day or evening out! |
